Experiment: tumblr as a wordpress aggregator

Reading this post on tumblr at Michelle MacPhersons blog about how tumblr can be used to up your technorati ranking by posting automated links to your blog got me thinking:

publisher_logo.gifA single tumblr which aggregates a number of RSS feeds into a single blog would be useful if maintenance wasn’t an issue and setup was easy.

To this end I’ve wrapped this feed and a few others together into a single tumbler at wp.tumblr.com. It took all of 5 minutes, had simple options, and ate the feed from here without complaint. Almost as easy to use as a feedreader, but more … um … published.

Have a look, see what you think, and suggest new RSS feeds for me to add into the flow below.

This is a good idea, I’ve seen it done before with just RSS feeds.

If this is done too much I’m afraid Technorati may ban one, though.
